Growing up in the dance world, movement has always been key, and yoga has allowed me to connect movement to my mind. I began studying the chakras through my yoga and Reiki courses and loved how they connected to my physical, mental, and emotional wellness. I mean if you haven’t learned by now, mind, body, and spirit connection is key for me.
The chakras allow you to look internally and balance yourself when it seems as if the outside world wants to keep you on its rocker. Serving as your energy center, they are specifically placed in a way to help you regulate what occurs naturally within us… reactions to stress and change. When we learn to balance our chakras, we take power over ourselves.
